You'll be asked to confirm your relationship and accept legal responsibility for the actions taken on the profile.
We require two layers of verification: legal documentation (business registration certificate, tax ID, utility bill, bank letter, trade license, or NOC) AND ownership control (verification via your business phone, business email at the company domain, postcard to the registered address, or a DNS record on your domain). The combination is what makes Socitic claims fraud-resistant.
Most claims are reviewed within 24-48 hours during business days. Domain DNS verification and company-email verification can be near-instant. Postcard verification (the most fraud-resistant method) takes 5-10 business days depending on your country's postal service.
Yes. Claiming and verifying your business is completely free on Socitic. The Free tier includes the Verified Business badge, public reply tools, and basic analytics forever. Paid Verified Pro and Enterprise plans add competitor benchmarking, AI reply drafting, multi-location dashboards, RBAC, and API access.
If you believe an unauthorized party has claimed your profile, file a Disputed Claim through this same wizard. Our trust team will require proof of your legal ownership (registration documents matching your legal name) and will contact the existing claimant for response. Fraudulent claims are reversed and the responsible account is banned from Socitic permanently.

Yes. The current verified Admin can transfer ownership to another verified user from the Settings page (a new identity verification is triggered for the recipient). Unclaiming releases the verified badge but never deletes the public profile — reviews and complaints are retained for transparency.
Every claim passes through three checks: (1) identity match — your name and role are validated against the documents you upload, (2) document authenticity — registration numbers are cross-referenced with government registries where available, and (3) ownership control — you must demonstrate live control of the business's official email, phone, postal address, or domain. Submitting forged documents is a criminal offense and permanently bans the account.
